Students of Grade -X visited ICRISAT (The International Crops Research Institute for the semi Arid Tropies) on Dec 1st 2015 . They came to know the steps taken to empower poor people to overcome poverty, hunger and a degraded environment through better agricultural practices.
Mr.Sharma explained about Dry land agriculture to students. They are excited to clarify the doubts . He explained about Managing soil and water , crop improvement and seed access Diversified farming. Developing on farm partices and technologies.
Students had fun as well as learning. They had a very good experience and the trip was informative.
