Independence day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect. The ceremony was started at 9:00 am in the school open ground with large crowd of staff and students. The principal welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest, the vice chairman of FEI Mr.Panduranga Chary.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation the chief guest unfurled the flag and sang the national anthem and expressed the joy of freedom.The students of grade III, IV, V sang a patriotic song and performed a dance that awakened the feelings towards our motherland.The students of grade III, IV, V also played the characters of some of our great freedom fighters .The honorable chief guest addressed the gathering and expressed his views.
Indeed, it was a day to love and respect our country to make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
