Flash Card Activity
The students of grade III did an activity using flash cards to identify four digit numbers, their place values, comparisons and their number names.Through this activity they learnt to arrange numbers according to their place values, write the number names and compare the numbers given and assign proper symbols( <, >, =).
Regrouping Of Numbers (July 2014 -15)
An activity was conducted for Grade IV students on Regrouping of Numbers in the last week of June'14.
Running Race ( July 2014-15)
Grade I students have done a Running Race activity which was conducted to make them learn the ordinal numbers and understand the different positions.
The students learnt the usage of ordinal numbers by recognizing the position of winners in the running race conducted.
Borrowing Subtraction Role play July (2014 -15)
This activity was conducted by the students of Grade III to understand the method of borrowing subtraction in the form of role play. Children played the roles of different place values and explained the method of borrowing subtraction. Everyone participated well and enjoyed the activity very much.
