The Creek Planet School, Mercury Campus celebrated
Telugu language day on 29th August 2019. This day is celebrated to
mark the birthday of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy who was
a Telugu writer and one
of the earliest modern Telugu linguists. He championed the cause of using a
language comprehensible to the common man. To mark the occasion the students rendered
slokas lucidly and also sang melodious songs to
delight the assembly .
