SOCIAL ACTIVITIES JUNIOR WING (2014-15)

Southern Plateau 
Students of Grade IV performed a role play on Southern Plateau. Identifying the locations of northern plains, their features.











TELUGU ACTIVITIES JUNIOR WING ( JUNE 2014-15)


Telugu Project Demo: వృత్తులు
The students of Grade IV have done a project on various occupations like pottery, carpentry etc. They met the people who are in these occupations and found out about that particular skill. They also checked out with these people about the difficulties that they are facing these days.
The projects were presented in a very impressive way by the students using placards and charts.




Identifying letters - Flash Card Activity
Grade I students did an activity using flash cards to identify and pronouncing Telugu letters correctly.
(అక్షరములను  గుర్తించి  పలుకుట ). Kids participated with great deal of enthusiasm and enjoyed the activity.





MATHS ACTIVITIES JUNIOR WING (JUNE 2014-15)

Flash Card Activity
The students of grade III  did an activity using flash cards to identify four digit numbers, their place values, comparisons and their number names.Through this activity they learnt to arrange numbers according to their place values, write the number names and compare the numbers given and assign proper symbols( <, >, =).






Regrouping Of Numbers (July 2014 -15)
An activity was conducted for Grade IV students on Regrouping of Numbers in the last week of June'14.














Running Race ( July 2014-15)
Grade I students have done a Running Race activity which was conducted to make them learn the ordinal numbers and understand the different positions.
The students learnt the usage of ordinal numbers by recognizing the position of winners in the running race conducted.













Borrowing Subtraction Role play July (2014 -15)
This activity was conducted by the students of Grade III to understand the method of borrowing subtraction in the form of role play. Children played the roles of different place values and explained the method of borrowing subtraction. Everyone participated well and enjoyed the activity very much.

HINDI ACTIVITIES JUNIOR WING (JUNE 2014-15)

Role Play: हार की जीत 
A role play on a lesson called  हार की जीत  is performed by the students of Grade IV.
This is to improve the fluency of Hindi language and to be able to build sentences in Hindi. To understand the story better. To make the children know the value of kindness and politeness.
This role play enhances the team spirit in the children and improves spontaneity. They learn that all are equal, they should love animals, stealing is a bad practice, should help the poor people, be kind to all.They would know the difference between good and bad.













Birds Flash Card Activity
Students of Grade III have done an activity based on Birds.





















Flash Card Activity: Identifying Hindi Alphabets 
Grade I students did an activity using flash cards which helped them to identify and pronounce the Hindi characters well. It was an entertaining and fun filled activity which the students enjoyed a lot.
